The Village of Dennison will hold spring cleanup on Tuesday, May 5th and Wednesday, May 6th. This is an opportunity for residents to clean up their properties and dispose of items at no charge.
Items include appliances such as stoves, refrigerators and freezers (with the Freon removed) washers and dryers, and home furnishings, large outdoor items, mattresses, computers, microwaves, and auto parts. Items will be recycled if possible.
We will not accept tires, televisions, fluorescent lights, hazardous materials, liquids, paint, batteries, oil and regular trash. This service is free to all residents who reside within the corporation limit of the Village of Dennison. The Village reserves the right to limit the amount of items picked up at each residence.
For pickup of items or questions, please call the Tammie Taggart at the Mayor’s office at 740-922-4072, ext. 4 with an address and brief description of the items to be picked up. Items should be placed curbside on the day of pick up. No items will be picked up after Wednesday, May 6th.
For lawn care items such as grass clippings, small branches, and leaves, the Village has a Yard Waste bin at the street department garage located at 20 Welch Street available for use by all residents of the Twin City area throughout the year. This is free of charge for residential use only. No commercial mowers or landscapers please.
